The Nurse Manager supports six (6) primary care practices in the Batavia area, along with the RN managed anticoagulation team. The Nurse Manager will have a primary office location in the Batavia area, with an option to work occasionally out of the Riedman Campus in Irondequoit.
STATUS: Full Time
DEPARTMENT: Ambulatory Services (Primary Care & Anticoagulation Team) - Western Region
PRIMARY LOCATION: Batavia, with an option to work out of the Riedman Campus
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, Days primarily.
ATTRIBUTES
- BSN required
- 3-5 years of relevant RN nursing experience.
- Previous nursing leadership preferred
- Previous nursing experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care highly desired.
- NYS RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Unit Management. Develop programs and strategies to monitor the quality of patient care and patient outcomes; promote collaboration with medical and administrative colleagues to establish unit and daily operation goals
- Staff Management. Identify staffing needs; collaborate with the Director to develop and implement recruitment plans; prepare, monitor and maintain salary and non-salary budgets; participate in professional development of staff
- Leadership. Demonstrated ability to influence others in both internal and external environments to promote optimal individual patient care and healthcare services to the public
EDUCATION:
- AS: Nursing (Required)
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
- RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
