Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist in the healthcare industry, based in Rochester, New York. The role involves managing medical billing processes, accounting software systems, and resolving customer inquiries related to credit applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process medical billing operations accurately and efficiently

• Use the Accounting Software Systems and EHR System for maintaining records and processing transactions

• Operate IBM AS/400 and Medisoft tools for managing accounts and billing functions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis tasks

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure the timely collection of payments

• Oversee the appeals process and ensure the resolution of any discrepancies

• Administer claim administration duties and manage billing functions

• Implement effective collection processes to recover delinquent payments

• Utilize Epic Software and Epic System for managing medical records and billing processes. Requirements • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial management tasks.

• Skilled in using EHR (Electronic Health Records) SYSTEM for managing patient data.

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 system for business computing tasks.

• Experience in Medisoft for managing health care billing processes.

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Capable of handling Appeals in medical billing context.

• Proficient in managing Billing Functions within a healthcare setting.

• Experience in Claim Administration to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Familiarity with Collection Processes in a healthcare context.

• Proficiency in using Epic Software for managing medical records.

• Experience in using Epic System for managing various healthcare operations.
