Position: Year-Round Tree Care Industry Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Tree Care Industry Mechanic with 1-2 years of experience in the landscape mechanic industry. Ideal candidates will have expertise in diesel mechanics, particularly with landscape trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of bucket trucks, landscape trucks (diesel and gas), chippers, bobcat machines, stump grinders, and other related equipment.

• Operate and maintain landscape equipment, chip trucks, and bucket trucks.

• Utilize solid knowledge and experience with heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and prentice loaders.

• Conduct repairs on both diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.

• Excellent work habits and organizational skills.

• Team player who works well with others.

• CDL is highly desirable but not required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to wear necessary PPE.

• Capability to work in various weather conditions.

• Proficiency in operating and servicing all required tools and equipment.

• Possession of a basic set of hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver weights of 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds.

• Gripping, climbing, balancing, pulling, and pushing.

Hours:

• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for overtime.
