• 1 Speech Pathologist - Preschool Program (3-5 years old)

- 1 Speech Pathologist - School Program (6-21 years old)

• Positions are open to fellows with teaching certifications.

Shift

• Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

• Part-Time: Also available if candidate cannot be Full-Time (whatever hours candidate can work).

• No on-call.

• No weekends.

• 100% onsite.

Job Summary

• Flexible service delivery model utilized.

• Provide developmental speech and language programming for students.

• Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions.

• Develop receptive and expressive language programs for classroom implementation.

• Evaluate and implement augmentative communication systems.

• Consult and train staff on therapy techniques and classroom integration.

• Assess speech, language, and social development using formal/informal methods.

• Collaborate with parents on home programming for language and communication needs.

• Participate in interdisciplinary evaluations and goal-setting.

• Maintain accurate records and report on student progress.

• Evaluate and implement oral-motor/feeding programs for students with disabilities.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Speech Pathology.

• NY State License.

• Special Education background.

• 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.

• If a Clinical Fellow without certifications, must have Teaching Certification.

Preferred:

• ASHA certification (CCC).
