Rochester Regional Health Labor Productivity Analyst in Rochester, New York

SUMMARY

The Labor Productivity Analyst, as a member of the finance department at Rochester Regional Health, will provide leadership and advisement to members of the finance department as well as key senior leadership stakeholders on labor performance to budget, benchmarking, labor key performance indicators, and variance analysis. This role will play a critical role in analyzing trends, translating data, and presenting meaningful stories that provide insights that drive business decisions. The role will capture detailed requirements, compile business and functional design documents, translating those into meaningful reports and dashboards for end users ensuring that the data is relevant, timely and effectively depicts the story. The Labor Productivity Analyst contributes greatly to the success of financial performance and business processes of the organization.

DEPARTMENT: Finance

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday days

ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business/Health Administration, Statistics or related field
  • 1+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Strong computer and software skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partners with executive level leadership to develop departmental labor productivity targets based on national labor utilization benchmarking analysis.
  • Participate in labor committees by providing actionable insights used to make decisions on labor utilization.
  • Work to learn, understand and improve client business by: understanding clinical processes, developing staffing models, providing education on utilization of labor management tools and how to interpret data findings.
  • Publish and distribute bi-weekly productivity reports, and benchmarking assessments quarterly.
  • System administrator for labor productivity & benchmarking tools. Maintaining integrity and ensuring accuracy of the data.
  • Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. PAY RANGE: $57,000.00 - $70,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
