The General Manager of the Genesee Brew House is responsible for ensuring strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees and ensuring that each visitor has a positive Genesee brand experience.

• Oversee all aspects of daily operations including customer satisfaction, employee performance, and quality control. Relentlessly seek opportunities for "Genesee Moments" and foster a culture of Genesee & beer knowledge and enthusiasm.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs while maximizing revenue.

• Work with finance to develop and manage budgets, forecasting sales and expenses on a monthly and yearly basis to meet financial targets.

• Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed. Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to maximize profitability. Communicate Brew House performance to Brewery leadership and direct reports as needed.

• Submit Brew House payroll including reviewing all timecards for accuracy, hour adjustments, verifying management timecards through Time Force & Toast POS, approving and submitting any vacation/PSL requests. Follow up with management to ensure labor laws are known and followed. Maximize labor efficiency

• Lead management team review and goal setting, including Mid Year Review & End Of Year Review initiatives. Work with HR to lead management team pay evaluations.

• Responsible for all Brew House cash reporting and reconciliation including deposits, safe counts, replenishing cash on hand, Compeat/DSR, rebate deposits, large event cash needs, and addressing all discrepancies promptly

• Building Repairs & Maintenance - preventative maintenance programs, inspections, work with vendors, anticipate needs, maintain communication with brewery maintenance team, create work orders, follow up on safety issues, staff training on proper use of equipment, maintain records of equipment and warranties. Lead capital improvements.

• Collaborate with the Genesee brand and PR teams to develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase restaurant visibility.

• Coordinate with security team on Brew House specific security needs and initiatives, maintain safety supplies and work processes. Monitor security cameras when necessary.

• Maintain all necessary permits and certifications for business, building and staff - Servesafe, CPR, Alcohol Service, Liquor Licenses, Health Dept

• Expert knowledge of necessary applications and programs including installation, workflows & training (Scheduling, POS, Table Management, Accounting, Online Sale

• Work with Brew House Brewing staff and managers to coordinate beer releases, in store promotion and marketing, ordering needs and execution, production & scheduling.

• Lead learning and development for Brew House management team including follow up on company wide initiatives and industry specific knowledge

• Lead retail team on gift shop sales including communicating budgets and brand initiatives

• Main vendor contact including knowledge of key stakeholders in supporting companies, contacts, approve and input vendors and items into accounting programs, evaluate vendor performance and monitor invoicing.

• Main point of contact with main brewery, foster workplace relationships with FIFCO USA employees and be ambassador and advocate for the Brew House

  In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $84,600 - $127,000, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
