University of Rochester G1600 - Emergency Transition Unit - Registered Nurse, Level I - II in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to adult/geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment. Opportunity to care for a wide variety of diagnosis. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, effective communication, prioritization, and organizational skills. During the residency you will be under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse for a minimum of three months, along with didactic classes to reinforce learning. Must be flexible with scheduling.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.

Level I

Applicants will have less than 6-12 months of RN experience.

Level II

Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $34.00 - $44.20

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
