University of Rochester Digital Content Strategist II in Rochester, New York

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Ensures that the organization's websites provide up-to-date and comprehensive product/service information that is easily available to existing and potential customers. Creates, edits, updates, connects, and shares digital video, images, text, and graphics for purposes of education. Analyzes the use of website content and marketing tools. Develops creative and clear written material for the organization’s websites to market educational programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates new Umbraco intranet sites and implements timely updates for Nursing Practice and Learning and Development; ensures content is up-to-date and meets accessibility guidelines. Proactively monitors websites to ensure they are current.

  • Identifies new technologies for marketing efforts, such as social media. Defines, tracks, analyzes, and reports on metrics and analytics to understand reach, such as Google Analytics.

  • Creates, edits, updates, connects, and shares digital video, images, text, and graphics for purposes of education. Maintains in-depth knowledge of current and emerging digital technology.

  • Develops and publishes online marketing communications for Learning and Development such as descriptions of the department’s products and services, such as newsletters and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

  • Develops creative, clear written material for the organization's websites in support of the organization's marketing programs in accordance with the established editorial and style guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 3 years of relevant experience required

  • Website design required

  • Videography required

  • Marketing required

Pay Range

Pay Range: $63,815 - $95,723 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
