Pay Rate: $15.60

Per Diem

GENERAL SCOPE: Schedule and dispatch all transportation requests for Summit, Wolk, Lodge and outpatient rehab customers. Schedule and coordinate the Summit guest room reservation requests. Respond to all emergency calls. Serve as the main entrance concierge. Answer incoming calls, handle resident questions and coordinate requests for services. Greet all visitors entering facility. Perform clerical tasks including update of resident files using Excel and JSL SOS system.

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: High school graduate required. Associates degree preferred. CPR/AED required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Answer all incoming call lines.

  • Provide general information assistance to residents and visitors.

  • Schedule valet services when requested.

  • Utilize the individual paging system and/or 2-way radios to communicate information to the appropriate staff.

  • Monitor and coordinate responses to the Personal Emergency Response System activation.

  • Assist in the monitoring of the fire alarm panel, door alarms and elevator alarms.

  • Utilize the individual paging system and/or 2-way radios to communicate information.

  • Monitor and coordinate responses to the Personal Emergency Response System activation.

  • All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years’ experience relating to reception desk operations including public contact and proficient computer skills. Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills mandatory. Must be able to exercise common sense, good judgment and innovative responses to emergency conditions as required without direct supervision. Hotel/Restaurant or Health Care organization experience preferred.
