Description We are in search of a Credit Clerk to join our team based in ROCHESTER, New York. This role is primarily focused on Accounts Receivable tasks in the telecom industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer credit inquiries. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process customer credit applications within a stipulated timeframe

• Maintain and update customer credit records with high levels of accuracy

• Work closely with clients to ensure all billing information is accurate and complete

• Utilize Factor SQL and Avionte to activate and approve new end debtors for funding

• Create custom billing templates for clients to use during funding

• Collaborate with cash/credit/portfolio teams to improve visibility and cash app

• Assist in invoice aging audits to ensure proper collateral documentation

• Support the Collateral Risk Analyst in ensuring compliance with clients' billing processes

• Determine appropriate corporate structure to ensure the debtor's legal entity name is accurately populated for accounts receivable

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner Requirements • Applicant must possess strong customer service skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites required

• Experience with invoice processing and auditing

• Familiarity with cash activity management and billing processes

• Capable of conducting thorough research and risk analysis

• Ability to use SQL and VLOOKUP functions

• Knowledge in collateral management and accounting functions

• Proficiency in handling debtors and credit operations

• Experience with templates, questionnaires, and legal entities

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking abilities

• Excellent documentation skills

• Ability to answer queries promptly and professionally.
