Under supervision of Dentist or manager, functions as a dental chair assistant and office assistant. And, can perform additional tasks as is allowed under NYS law for Licensed Dental Assistants

ATTRIBUTES
- Maintains Dental Assistant Certification (CDA) with NYS or the Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) - Required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for routine interaction with staff, patients and visitors
- Dental Assistance. Prepare dental supplies necessary for each patient; anticipate dentist needs for instrumentation and materials during the procedural treatment on the patient; assist with x-rays, fillings and positioning suction tubes
- Sterilization & Maintenance. Clean and sterilize all dental instruments following proper procedures
- Documentation & Coordination. Maintain all patient records and update as necessary
PAY RANGE: $17.75 - $24.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
