Description

The Department of Medicine, Cardiology Division at The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a new academic physician-scientist faculty member with an interest in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Candidate should be interested in playing a major role in the academic ventures of the division. The candidate will spend the majority of their time dedicated to basic research and training. Ultimately, the faculty will have clinical and teaching responsibilities. Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must Possess an MD or equivalent

• Completed Fellowship training in Cardiology

• Must obtain NYS Medical licensure prior to start

• Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

• Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

• Criminal background check required

• Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
