The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester (URMC)in Rochester, NY, is seeking a dedicated radiologist to join the abdominal imaging division.

Abdominal imaging faculty perform CT/MRI/US/Abdominal Fluoroscopy and PET/CT with internal sub-specialization in line with a faculty member’s interests. The division presently consists of 12 faculty members supported by licensed professional extenders and a dedicated radiology communication center.

We provide diagnostic imaging and teaching at the primary medical center and collaborate with superb clinical colleagues. Biopsies and other invasive procedures are performed by a separate interventional division. Overnight coverage is provided by a separate emergency radiology division.

Requirements include ABR certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology and fellowship training or equivalent experience in abdominal imaging. Candidates should have or be eligible to obtain a New York State Medical License.

The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is a practice of approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows. Technical highlights include state of the art information technology, 3T MRI, a clinical PET/MRI, Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT. The department’s PACS system is integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information system. The majority of faculty children attend excellent public schools with many subsequently admitted to highly competitive universities. Pay Range

Pay Range: $415,000 - $435,000 Annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
