Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Construction/Contractor industry based in Rochester, New York. This role will be centered around managing accounts payable, account reconciliation, and data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in invoice processing and familiar with software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable tasks, ensuring all invoices are coded accurately and processed in a timely manner

• Conduct account reconciliations to keep track of the company's financial status

• Execute check runs to pay for company expenses and maintain financial records

• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry tasks and other account-related processes

• Process and manage customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records and resolving any inquiries

• Monitor customer credit accounts, taking necessary steps to collect delinquent payments

• Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts payable transactions

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations

• Assist in other account-related tasks as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and account reconciliation.

• Experience in check runs and coding invoices.

• Strong data entry and invoice processing skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Ability to work in a construction/contractor industry setting.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to continuously improve and learn new skills.
