The Role

The Associate Director, Talent Management is responsible for the development and implementation of talent planning solutions. Responsible for enhancing, implementing, and managing full-cycle talent programs and initiatives, and improving processes that facilitate improved employee experience.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify and implement strategies to enhance the internal talent pipeline, considering workforce trends and existing capabilities. Design and orchestrate annual talent review cycles, working in close collaboration with HR Business Partners and HR CoEs. Analyze, collect, interpret and evaluate talent metrics to provide data driven insights for internal talent assessments, reviews, calibrations, etc.; reviewing processes and monitoring effectiveness. Educate the business about talent management processes, tools, and best practices.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and business leaders to align talent planning strategies with business objectives and ensure they support the overall talent management strategy.

  • Conduct process analyses and provide recommendations to improve talent development.

  • Leverage HR technologies, such as Workday, to run and continuously enhance the talent planning process and user experience.

  • Partner with HR colleagues to build and maintain proper tier 0-2 support structure. Define the requirements for training and development programs to help managers and employees understand and effectively use talent planning tools and processes.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in talent planning and make recommendations to continually improve the program.

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $116,760 to $221,880based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:

California: $128,400 to $266,040

Colorado: $116,760 to $221,880

New York City: $140,040 to $266,040

Washington: $128,400 to $243,960

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Who You Are

An ideal candidate will be able to drive effective and impactful talent calibration and talent planning capabilities in partnership with HR Business Partners and leadership teams. To be successful in this role you'll have the following experience and skills:

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in talent management or human resources

  • Strong experience implementing talent planning programs and delivering results

  • Experience with Workday required

  • Proven experience executing large scale, global planning initiatives and delivering results

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven recommendations to improve talent management practices

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Prefer human resource generalist experience

  • Experience leading change management initiatives

  • Strong project management skills
