Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and working closely with the Director of Academic Success, the Senior Medical School Adviser will play a critical role in providing academic support, career advising, well-being coaching, and other student support services essential to a successful medical student experience. The Adviser will provide specialized academic support with at-risk students within the School of Medicine, including but not limited to meeting with students and developing courses of action for improvement in academic performance. The Adviser will contribute to the development and delivery of academic support workshops and the

USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 exams workshops. The individual will advise medical students on the basics of career opportunities in medicine. The Adviser will meet with students to review their CVs and personal statements, residency application and interviewing preparation. The selected candidate will serve as a well-being coach for first year medical students, following those students throughout their medical school career.
