Price Electric Talent Acquisition Specialist in Robins, Iowa

PRICE ELECTRIC is searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to source and recruit diverse top talent to advance talent pipeline, recruitment and hiring strategies, processes and results. With considerable focus on hiring skilled craft positions, experience in construction recruiting or administration is beneficial.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will primarily be responsible to:

  • Develop talent brand collateral in conjunction with marketing and leadership

  • Work with hiring managers to understand the company's staffing requirements and job responsibilities, qualifications and cultural fit

  • Plan sourcing channels, conduct research, send outreach messages and engage passive candidates by gaining insight on their career aspirations and potential fit, answering questions and documenting candidate engagement

  • Actively network and participate in and/or coordinate volunteers for career fairs, college engagements, industry networking events and community involvement to promote our workplace and source potential candidates

  • Create and execute a recruitment plan including crafting compelling, realistic job posts and useful application questions and targeted advertising

  • Screen applicants by reviewing resumes and assessing relevant qualifications

  • Conduct interviews, administer tests and/or assessments, order background checks and check references to present the best candidates to hiring managers

  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and p rovide them tools and insight to aid in interviewing and selection

  • Prepare contingent job offers and internal promotions/transfers

  • Coordinate and participate in initial onboarding and check-ins

  • Maintain job descriptions and key result areas and assist managers in writing or updating these documents

  • Maintain ATS for efficiency and personalized communications for seamless candidate experience and management

  • Track and review metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategies and make improvements to timely achieve desired staffing levels and quality of hire objectives

  • Comply with all employment laws and regulations, including proper document retention

  • Gather and share market intelligence and suggest adjustments to increase competitiveness and reputation as an employer of choice

  • Assist Human Resources Department as needed and time allows

    Key Requirements/Experience for the job:

  • A relatable connector who enjoys developing professional relationships with passive and active candidates, hiring managers and community and school leaders and explaining helpful branch, departmental and job information

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, human resources, construction management or related field and 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or account management, or equivalent education and experience to develop:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interaction and collaboration skills

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws

  • Proven integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact

  • Competitive in achieving results while advancing team priorities

  • Adaptable, resilient, and open to learning from feedback

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-up and fact-based decision-making abilities

  • Proficient user of ATS, social media and MS Office

    To support PRICE ELECTRIC and its employees in Building Success – People, Projects, Partners, this position is performed largely at the corporate location in Robins, IA and will have a mutually agreeable schedule for 30-32 hours/week.
