Sr Human Resources Assistant

As the Sr HR Assistant, you will provide first tier support to employees that visit HR at our Distribution Center location and ensure a positive customer experience for our candidates and employees. Additionally, you'll answer employee benefit questions, general inquiries, provide technical system support and refer questions to AskHR, as well as provide administrative support to our DC HR team.

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of HR front desk to provide professional and branded experience for employees with routine inquiries.
  • Respond to general employee questions regarding benefits enrollment, changes to benefits, benefit coverage and HR practices/policies.
  • Run reports in UKG and audit timekeeping entries to ensure accurate attendance reporting and policy administration. Interface with DC Leadership to prepare and assist with corrective actions related to attendance. Research leave and protected time off to ensure accurate attendance administration
  • Deliver New Hire onboarding in a high-volume recruitment business unit during peak periods. This includes I-9 administration, presenting policies, benefit enrollments, and all New Hire onboarding paperwork.
  • Support HR initiatives and programs, such as technical support during employee engagement surveys, open enrollment periods, compliance training, and all HR driven programs.
  • Support the HR management team with general administrative duties including coordinating schedules, travel, reconciliation of expenses, communications, and other management requests.
  • Maintain positive open lines of communication with management, staff and other departments to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the HR organization.

YOU ARE

  • Skilled in planning, coordination, and organization
  • Able to prioritize conflicting and confidential demands in a front-line, customer-facing position
  • Attentive to detail
  • Able to work within defined organizational policies and procedures with a willingness to suggest/implement process & efficiency improvements

YOUHAVE

  • 5-7 years' experience in related administrative support
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience; additional education or vocational training is preferred
  • Experience in process leadership is preferred
  • Excellent customer service focus, approach, and attitude
  • General office and business knowledge
