Amazon Senior Account Manager, AWS Commercial Sales in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Description

As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager at AWS, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic enterprise customer relationships within your assigned territory. You will act as the primary point of contact for our largest and most complex customers, working closely with them to understand their business challenges, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive AWS solutions that drive their digital transformation initiatives.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the

largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive AWS adoption and revenue growth within your assigned enterprise accounts.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT decision-makers, and technical teams.

  • Understand customers' business objectives, technical requirements, and pain points, and position AWS services and solutions to address their needs.

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and Partner teams, to deliver seamless customer experiences.

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and proof-of-concept demonstrations to showcase AWS capabilities.

  • Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial terms to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Forecast and track pipeline opportunities, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting and achievement of sales targets.

  • Stay up-to-date with AWS service offerings, industry trends, and competitors' activities to provide strategic guidance to customers.

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, account management, or related roles, preferably in the technology industry.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex customer environments and challenges.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders, willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Self-starter, able to work independently and autonomously to build cross functional teams within a matrix organization and the ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders

  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and AWS services is preferred.

  • Arabic speaker
