Aggreko Mechanical Technician in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician for our location in Riyadh to focus on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation.

What you’ll do:

  • The Mechanical Technician will report to the Lead Technician and work on the Maintenance of Aggreko products in line with the production schedule, product quality, health and safety and targets.

  • Mechanical assembly of Aggreko Manufacturing products in accordance with work instructions and quality control documentation

  • Troubleshooting/Diagnosis/Repair/Assembly/Overhaul/Refurb of Aggreko Products

  • Assembly of Fuel and Cooling system hoses, pipes and fittings

  • Assembly & Sub-Assembly of fabricated components

  • Mating and torquing of flange assemblies.

  • Use of air tools, hand tools, torque tools, overhead cranes, lifting and slinging equipment and measuring equipment

  • Working to the high-quality standards of the business and escalating quality issues when they arise

  • Work in an effective manner with the direct team members and wider Manufacturing cross-functional teams where required.

  • Involvement in Continuous Improvement projects and activities

  • Maintaining work area in a safe and tidy working condition

  • Working strictly in accordance with company policies and procedures

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in the Mechanical field. Experience in the Electreical field a plus.

  • Experience Working in Gas and Diesel Engines and generators.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably with a strong knowledge of Service and repair methods with experience of assembling mechanical systems.

  • Understand and interpret engineering drawings.

  • Experience of working on electrical fitting/wiring would also be desirable but not essential.

  • Excellent verbal communication

  • Able to work under pressure and deliver tasks on time, to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
