Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Authorities Stakeholder Officer to join our team! The Authorities Stakeholder Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating all interactions with regulatory authorities and stakeholders. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, facilitates approvals and permits, and maintains positive relationships with governmental and regulatory bodies to support the successful execution of projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards that may impact the project.

  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory authorities.

  • Coordinate the application process for all required permits and approvals.

  • Track the status of permit applications and follow up as necessary to ensure timely approvals.

  • Address any issues or concerns raised by regulatory authorities during the approval process.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory and compliance-related inquiries.

  • Facilitate meetings and communications between project teams and regulatory authorities.

  • Maintain accurate records of all regulatory submissions, approvals, and communications.

  • Prepare regular reports on the status of permits, approvals, and compliance activities.

  • Ensure all project documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on regulatory and compliance matters.

  • Assist in the development of project plans and schedules to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

  • Conduct training sessions for project staff on regulatory compliance and best practices.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations applicable to the industry.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

  • This position may require occasional travel to project sites and regulatory offices.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
