East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP) is hiring for a part-time, 20 hours per week, temporary CNP Coordinator.This position is responsible for implementing the Rhode Island Office of Healthy Aging (RI OHA) Congregate Nutrition Program (CNP). Responsibilities will include tallying meal site counts, change forms and all related paperwork, data entry, all required reports and documentation. The CNP Coordinator will collect meal site PIFs, deposit slips, assist with SNAP applications at sites, conduct health education nutrition workshops, ensure training for meal site staff and volunteers, monitor meal site volunteers to ensure compliance of grant mandates, ensure efficient and ethical donation practices.

Responsibilities:

• Train site directors and volunteers and monitor all meal site documentation, policies, and procedures, as required by the RI Office of Healthy Training and EBCAP.
• Conduct food safety training on a regular basis for all meal site volunteers.
• Oversee inventory of meal site supplies at each meal site.
• Monitor meal site donations and bank deposits by conducting site visits at every meal site, reviewing donation documentation, and depositing daily monies if necessary. Distribute client satisfaction surveys semi-annually.
• Implement and monitor the restaurant components of the meal program.
• Complete Healthy Eating training and offer a workshop series at meal sites.
• Complete SNAP training and offer assistance to clients at all meal sites.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience in human services and/or nutrition preferred.
