The FP&A Analyst position is responsible for analyzing financial information, using data to explain the financial results, and predicting the future performance of the company based on trends and other information.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts, budgets and prior periods

  • Provide robust variance explanations to stakeholders and summarize results with appropriate charts and narrative

  • Develop forecasting models using existing data, trends and expected business change

  • Assist with budgeting and strategic planning process

  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks

  • Develop financial models and reports, conduct benchmarking and process analysis

  • Identify trends and recommend actions based on sound analysis

  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives

  • Prepare analysis in response to Ad hoc requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required

  • 3+ years’ of financial analyst experience in a large corporate environment or 3+ years public accounting experience

  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills

  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis

  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with good attention to detail, inquisitive and adaptable to changes in priorities

  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently

  • Strong financial modeling experience

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications; Power BI experience a plus
