Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Collections: Proactively manage the collection of accounts receivable, contacting customers to resolve delinquent balances and maintain strong financial health.

  • Evaluate credit terms and make informed decisions on credit limit increases, balancing risk with business needs.

  • Independently determine product release and shipment based on credit evaluations, adhering to company guidelines.

  • Utilize analytical skills to resolve disputes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and customer satisfaction.

  • Serve as a trusted point of contact, addressing customer inquiries related to invoices and providing outstanding service.

  • Foster productive relationships with customers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and operations.

  • Respond promptly to vendor requests for customer trade references, maintaining our reputation for reliability.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years in accounts receivable, particularly with National Accounts, with a strong focus on credit extension, dispute resolution and collections.

  • Confidence in making independent credit decisions within established guidelines.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, with a knack for setting priorities, following up on outstanding issues and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
