    Luxfer Superform operates from Riverside, California (USA). We specialize in Superforming of Aluminum, Titanium and Magnesium alloys as a 1st Tier supplier to major OEM’s. Established since 1974 Superform serves Customers in all the major markets including Aerospace.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :  

    • Understand geometric dimensioning & tolerance in accordance with ANSI Y14.5.

    • Visually and mechanically measure and inspect parts utilizing a variety of tools including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, and fixtures.

    • Perform first-part verification, in-process, and final inspection of product.

    • Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) performing bubble drawings with results documented.

    • Perform basic inspection tool calibration.

    • Read and interpret blueprints and measure parts in accordance. 

    • Operate CMM and/or Romer Arm using predetermined alignments and calibrate as required.

    • Identify and segregate nonconforming products.

    • Review disposition on nonconforming products.

    • Supplies discrepancy sketches, as required for nonconforming products.

    • Assist with Root Cause and Correction Actions.

    • Support MRB regarding dimensional issues.

    • Maintain and archive documentation per established procedure.

    • Maintain inspection work instructions and procedures.

    • Maintain understanding and knowledge of quality procedures and work instructions.

      EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.

    • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as an inspector working in an Aerospace environment is required.

    • Aerospace Experience is required

    • Employees must be familiar with safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.

    • Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic internet applications. Ability to navigate through electronic file structures.

    • Completion of Inspection Delegation Program (IDP) for In-Process and Receiving Inspection.

    • $24.00 to $28.00 hourly DOE (depending on experience)

    • Monday - Friday  5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
