Description:

Concrete finishers are skilled tradespeople who work in the construction industry to finish concrete surfaces. Their responsibilities include: Pouring concrete, concrete finishers pour concrete for flooring, walkways, roads, bridges, and building foundations. Spreading and smoothing Concrete finishers spread and smooth concrete to create a level surface. They can use a power trowel or do it by hand. Creating textures and finishes Concrete finishers use different tools and techniques to create different textures and finishes on concrete. Making indents and grooves Concrete finishers make strategic indents and grooves to create an even surface and eliminate cracks. Applying treatments Concrete finishers apply curing or surface treatments to concrete. Monitoring weather Concrete finishers monitor the effects of weather on concrete. Working with other trades Concrete finishers work with other trades to ensure that the finished product meets the project requirements. Reading blueprints
