Sycamore of River Fallsis looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would provide personal cares and be trained to pass medications to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional well-being at our beautiful assisted living and memory care building in River Falls, WI.

This casual caregiver schedule includes;

• On-call role to help with last minute or preplanned needs

• Day/evening/night shifts

• Weekends as needed

Opened Spring of 2023 , The Sycamore of River Falls is a growing, full-service senior living community with 84 apartments including 68 blended independent and assisted living and 16 memory care apartments in a secured neighborhood on first floor. The property has four villa patio twin home units with two bedroom and three bedroom options for active, independent seniors. The apartment building consists of a variety of studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus den, and two-bedroom units. The underground parking garage has 50 parking stalls, maintenance rooms, and residents’ storage area.

Responsibilities/Job Description

• Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.

• Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.

• May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.

• Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff.

• Assists with onboarding of new staff

• Performs other duties as assigned and directed

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.

• Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population.

• CNA certificated if under 18.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:

• High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA
