Essential Responsibilities

The position is requiring important involvement into productivity activities related to Gearbox products, through a deep collaboration with the Sourcing and Supply Chain departments.

In this role, the candidate will:

• Support component design activities to achieve the objectives of cost.

• Leverage the available cost analysis tools and guide the productivity ideas generation exploring all possible solutions.

• Work on ideas generation to cover gaps in cost by proposing technical solutions leveraging the competence of the HW owners, the system engineers, CTH community and the MAE team members to validate the feasibility of these ideas and analyses the application of ideas transversely across multiple product lines.

• Participate/lead AWOs at supplier sourcing in technical reviews/negotiations at supplier site.

• Coordinate, from Engineering side, the execution of the approved ideas by ensuring OTD of high-quality job according to the Engineering processes (especially design change).

• Participate to the Operating Rhythm defined by the Cost out leader within sourcing department and support the activities of prioritizations of the task and work elbow to elbow in cross functional teams (Sourcing, Engineering, MAE, Sourcing quality)

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master’s degree in mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering

• Knowledge of mechanical design and related manufacturing process

• Knowledge of CAD and FEM tools

• English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral

• Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to directly interact with several internal and external customers
