REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED preferred, and one or more months experience and/or training. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Must have a pleasing personality and the ability to meet and greet customers pleasantly. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Retail Sales Clerk obtains or receives merchandise, totals bill, accepts payment, and makes change for customers in a retail store. Stocks shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise maintaining coloration of required items. Pulls outdated merchandise from the sales floor according to established procedures, and prepares for salvage or disposal. Sets up advertising displays or arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales. Other duties as assigned. Will be working days, evenings, and weekends. Schedule will be discussed with the employer. Pay is $11.75 an hour working approximately 25 hours a week.
