In the College of Health & Natural Science (CHNS), we need an individual as the Administrative Assistant who will provide administrative and office support to our busy programs.

Job Summary:

As an integral part of the efficient and effective running of the programming for our students, your role will be to provide support for the Dean, faculty, staff, and students of the College based across three campuses. Responsibilities include a wide variety of administrative duties, and serves as the primary contact for the CHNS undergraduate faculty and community.

Other duties include:

  • Entering course scheduling and tracking faculty assignments.

  • Managing and prioritizing scheduling for the Dean’s calendars.

  • Collaborate with College leadership to streamline operations management.

  • Manage the College’s communication – both internally and externally.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    In this role, the skills and qualifications that you possess will include:

  • An Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Three to five (3-5)+ years of previous administrative experience, preferably in higher education.

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service work.

  • Strong organization skills with an emphasis on detail and follow-up.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including excel, word and outlook.

  • Ability to lift various materials up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
