Robert Half Director of Finance in Summerville, South Carolina
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Finance in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Ridgeville, South Carolina. As a Director of Finance, you will be overseeing the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, as well as handling key regulatory, risk, treasury, and other similar functions. Your responsibilities will also include developing financial models to support decision making across the organization and monitoring financial performance.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision making across the organization
• Prepare board and executive level presentations
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor and track financial performance and analyze variances
• Work closely with Controllership to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Develop and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency strategies
• Participate in cross-functional projects and assist other finance team members as required
• Stay up to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
• Provide guidance to team members and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Requirements
• Significant experience in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry
• Expertise in '3M'
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with 'ADP - Financial Services'
• Proficiency in 'Concur'
• Knowledge of 'CRM'
• Demonstrated ability in handling Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to develop and manage Annual Budget
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Budget Processes
• Proficiency in 'SAP B1 - Business One'
• Proficiency in 'Microsoft Power BI'
• Ability to lead and inspire teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced degree in Finance or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA would be a plus.
