Job Title: SU3-Assembler
Job Description
Join our team as an SU3-Assembler, where you'll be responsible for assembling sub-components and finished products in a fast-paced production environment. You will work with hand tools, power tools, and an overhead crane to build heat exchangers, ensuring all parts fit correctly and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assemble sub-components and finished products following detailed assembly diagrams.
Fit metal products using hand tools and power tools.
Operate hand and power tools, as well as an overhead crane, to build heat exchangers.
Ensure accurate placement of parts and quantities based on assembly schematics.
Lift and fit products weighing 60lbs+.
Collaborate with a team member to fulfill daily product orders.
Perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.
Essential Skills
Experience with assembling and fitting metal products.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret assembly diagrams and schematics.
Experience operating an overhead crane.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (GED program available upon hire).
Ability to lift 50lbs+ (40lbs+ independently).
Physical capability to regularly walk, sit, reach, and use hand tools and power tools for extended periods.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, organized, and large manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production. First Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM (with possible extension to 4:30PM). Second Shift: 2:15PM - 10:45PM Mon-Fri (with possible overtime on Saturdays from 12PM-6PM).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
