Work you'll do:

  • Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization (APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc.)

  • Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts

  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements

  • Adhere to defined coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable and easy to understand code/configuration.

  • Perform independent code reviews and write unit/integration test cases to achieve 85% test coverage

  • Ability to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be reported as a result of faults in the production system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Prior Consulting experience or relevant industry experience

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations.

  • Ability to develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, including solution design, technical specifications, and test plans.

  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrations.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to travel 20-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred

  • Experience and knowledge of other web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.

  • Prior federal consulting experience

  • Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology

  • Prior experience in Project or program management

  • Experience working with agile methodology

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 - $175,000.
