  What You’ll Do:

• Lead the charge in maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring strict adherence to company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and procedures.

• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop safety plans and training systems that empower our teams.

• Oversee safety practices on-site, providing hands-on guidance and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

• Be the go-to expert for incident investigations, post-accident procedures, and ongoing risk assessments.

• Mentor and develop Site Safety Specialists, helping them to grow and excel in their roles.

• Stay connected with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and OSHA representatives to manage cases and proactively identify safety improvements.

• Conduct regular site visits and inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to ensure a safe work environment.

• Lead and participate in safety meetings, driving the conversation on best practices and continuous improvement.

  What You Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

• OSHA 500 certification and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain Instructor status).

• 8+ years of experience in the safety field, with a strong background in construction safety practices.

• Certifications in the safe operation of relevant construction equipment and a deep understanding of OSHA and NFPA standards.

• The ability to lead, teach, and inspire others, with a positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

• Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer software programs.

• The flexibility to adapt to changing demands, including occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
