Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

Responsible for providing support for patient care and carrying out therapeutic activities as directed by the Therapist in a team environment consistent with professional and ethical standards.

Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to performance improvement activities as applicable, problem solving, and productivity.

Employment Qualifications

• High school graduate and/or GED required.

• Experience working with adult and geriatric populations is desirable.

• Experience working in a hospital or other health care setting is desirable.

• Current BLS certification required or obtained within ninety days of completing new employee orientation

Essential Job Functions

• Provide patient care support to clinician(s).

• Demonstrate proficiency documenting in the electronic medical record as applicable.

• Report patient response to interventions to clinician(s).

• Prepare treatment areas.

• Transport patients to and from activities as needed.

• Observe all applicable safety processes and procedures.

• Clean therapeutic equipment.

• Perform clerical tasks.
