The Clinical Digital Assistant (CDA) team is at the forefront, developing a next-generation platform that integrates generative AI technologies, OCI’s cloud-native AI/ML capabilities, and robust data infrastructure. With features like conversational search, voice-assisted applications, summarization, semantic search, this platform is revolutionizing healthcare applications and enhancing experiences for patients and clinicians alike. Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems to support AI development within the Health org

• Build distributed systems and pipelines for data management, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

• Collaborate with product managers and service teams to build secure, scalable infrastructure that can support the growing needs of our AI service offerings.

• Coordinate with multinational teams to drive projects from research POC to production.

• Develop production code and advocate for the best coding and engineering practices.

• Identify and mitigate risks in our plans and executions, especially at the intersection of business and engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6+ years of working experience shipping scalable, cloud-native distributed systems

• Strong focus to engineering detail, robustness of ML pipeline and infrastructure

• Strong software engineering skills (Java and Python)

• Strong communication skills; great work ethic and teamwork.

• Strong prototyping skill to build demos for early feedback.

• Experience in container orchestration like Kubernetes/Docker/Helm Charts

• Experience with cyber security

• Experience with production operations and best practices for putting quality code in production and troubleshooting issues when they arise

• Experience developing and optimizing algorithms that run efficiently on resource constrained platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare and experience delivering healthcare applications are significant plus.

• Experience in LLM application for productivity.

US: Hiring Range: from $94,200 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
