THE JOB
The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of daily venue operations, VIP programs, and special activations. Acting as a liaison between the venue team, guests, and management, this individual is responsible for maintaining high operational standards, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering strong communication among all stakeholders. WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Oversee venue operations to ensure efficiency, organization, and adherence to venue policies and procedures
Advance, coordinate, and execute VIP programs and activations ensuring a flawless experience for high-profile guests , artists, and partners
Serve as a key point of contact between venue staff, guests, and senior management, facilitating clear and effective communication
Monitor and address operational challenges in real time, proactively identifying and resolving issues
Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policies, SOPs, guest service standards, and safety regulations
Support the Operations Manager in implementing process improvements and operational strategies
Conduct regular inspections of venue spaces to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness for events and daily operations
Maintain accurate records of operational activities, guest feedback, and incident reports
Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence
Possess a problem-solving and growth mindset
Willing to help in any department wherever is needed
Adhere to Responsible Alcohol Service training guidelines and company policies to ensure the responsible service of alcohol
Other related duties as assigned by management
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, informed decisions and effectively diffuse problematic situations
Have a keen social perceptiveness, being aware of other’s reactions and understanding why they react as they do
Utilize critical thinking skills to identify alternative solutions and approaches to issues
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with guests, team members, and management. This position will require internal and external communication via email and phone before and after events.
High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining composure , professionalism , and a positive attitude
Strong customer service mindset with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction. Be outgoing, friendly, and personable
Commitment to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on operational demands. Be extremely reliable, dependable, and responsible
Working knowledge of venue operations, responsible alcohol service and guest relations
Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
Preferred:
Experience in a live music environment
Previous experience in an event operations , event management, or hospitality role
Experience handling VIP clientele and high-profile activations
Familiarity with venue management software or operational reporting tools
