Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. Environmental Scientist in Richmond, Virginia
Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking an Environmental Scientist with 4 or more years' experience for our Richmond, Virginia office. We're growing, and this is an excellent opportunity for an up-and-coming environmental professional to grow with us! This is a role for a dynamic individual looking for career growth in our Environmental Department, which serves a diverse client base, providing due diligence, regulatory consulting, site remediation, and similar services.
Environmental Scientist Responsibilities and Requirements
Preparation of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
Experience working with various VDEQ programs, including UST Program and the Voluntary Remediation Program
Experience working with asbestos and lead-based paint preferred
Prepare accurate Daily Field Reports, Chain of Custody forms, field logs, sketches, and similar project documentation
Regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion and site remediation experience
Self-motivated, organized, and focused, with good attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A desire to grow professionally
BS Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering
