Job Description

Reviews engineering design plans, project specifications, and other documentation such as technical studies, reports, and submittals. As assigned, provides design directions and reviews comments. Coordinates with engineering consultants, contractors, colleagues, and other departments on projects and in scheduling meetings, resolving issues, providing guidance and direction. Designs and drafts engineering plans, as assigned

As assigned, develops project cost estimates

Ensures all aspects of assigned projects comply with Federal, State, and local rules and regulations

As assigned, performs administrative duties such as reviewing invoices and applications, issuing payment approvals, and resolving payment issues.

Maintains logs/records and permits; tracks systems and specialized databases and enters data. Review, prepare, and maintain project status/technical reports, permit applications, inspections, and other documents.

Skills and Requirements

Two years of experience with reviewing designs of Utility work (gas or water)

Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering null
