General Summary Responsible for the analysis of business system development and existing system improvement. Efficiently allocates human resources and monitors deliverables to ensure client needs are successfully met and in a timely fashion. Builds test plans and data. Coordinates with other teams to identify and implement new systems to support business function while keeping data integrity and security top of mind. Essential Job Functions Lead a team of 6 -8 Business Systems Analysts / Project Managers, provide for their growth and development, set priorities and hold the team accountable for deliverables. Implement and maintain best practice standards and processes for project management and business systems analysis. Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions. Design innovative and effective business solutions to address identified needs. Work closely with IT teams and external vendors to develop and customize software solutions. Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and compliance standards. Develop project plans and schedules, and manage resources to ensure timely delivery of solutions. Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and solicit feedback. Develop and implement change management strategies to support systems and processes. Fill the role of Release Manager for SSC's point-of-sale/inventory management system and related applications, ensuring proper execution and documentation of User Acceptance Testing. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth transition to new solutions. Monitor post-implementation performance and address any issues or concerns. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in business systems and solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Assist with the development of SSC's strategic IT vision, may participate in management team meetings to provide updates and recommendations to senior leadership. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field Experience: Must have at least 10 years of Information Systems experience. Proven experience in business analysis, project management, and solution development. Must have at least 5 years of direct management experience. Requirements Strong understanding of business processes and systems, with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
