Aerotek Lead Maintenance Supervisor in Richmond, California

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to ensure proper safeguards, operation, and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to provide a safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operation. The Maintenance Supervisor will manage and work alongside a team of maintenance technicians, schedule and coordinate all shutdown and repair activities, control repair parts inventory, maintain the plant repair budget, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. The role involves looking for opportunities to improve safety and current processes, minimize maintenance costs, and work beyond normal day shift schedules to resolve problems, projects, and emergency repairs. The Supervisor will also prepare estimates, complete appropriation requests for capital funds, plan and manage capital projects safely on time and within budget, and when applicable, coordinate and direct contractor safety, insurance compliance, and activities.
