 Location: Richland, Washington * Type: Contract * Job #8092 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This IT Architect IV is a highly skilled Unified Communications Engineer with extensive experience deploying and managing Microsoft Teams phone systems, integrating them with Avaya and Cisco Unified Communications systems, and other related technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with E911 systems, AudioCodes phones, AudioCodes Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and Survivable Branch Appliances (SBAs), analog gateways, and ASCOM Wi-Fi phones. This role involves decommissioning the Cisco UC phone system and replacing it with Microsoft Teams Phone, while maintaining the Avaya phone system. Furthermore, the candidate should have experience providing technical oversight for deployments and training end users in both group and individual settings. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $44.46 - $69.93 Benefits: * Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Replace Cisco UC phone system with Microsoft Teams phone. * Ensure seamless deployment and management of Microsoft Teams phone systems. * Operate E911 systems, preferably Intrado solutions. * Manage AudioCodes SBCs and SBAs. * Deploy and manage AudioCodes analog gateways and phones. * Configure and manage ASCOM Wi-Fi phones. * Support and troubleshoot communication systems. * Provide technical oversight for unified communications deployments. * Train end users in groups and individually. * Collaborate with teams to design call flows and optimize networks. * Maintain and upgrade communication infrastructure. * Participate in system maintenance, including change management and on-call support. * Develop technical standards and procedures for resolving voice service issues. * Mentor junior colleagues. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, telecommunications, or a related field or proven related experience. * Preferred certifications are CCNA-Voice, CCNP-Voice, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer or relevant telephony certifications. * 4-10 years of experience with Microsoft Teams phone, Avaya, and Cisco UC systems. * Experience with E911 systems (Intrado preferred). * Experience with telephony network tech (AudioCodes SBCs, SBAs, analog gateways, phones preferred). * Experience with ASCOM Wi-Fi phones setup and operations. * Technical oversight for deployments. * Training end users in groups or individually. * Knowledge of VoIP tech and network protocols. * Strong problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and in teams. * Communication and project management skills Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
