Position Summary
As an Staff Software Development Engineer at CVS Health, you will be working on a team that develops and supports critical applications in Healthcare. More specifically, this role will be a vital contributor in leading the efforts of designing, debugging, and developing new in-house applications and enhancing existing applications such as Novologix. The role will involve taking ownership of complex and crucial projects and guide teams of employees and contractors towards successful implementation.
This role requires extensive working knowledge of the Novologix application. Proven experience of designing and delivering of complex solutions for the Novologix business users.
Ability to support and lead others to develop .Net web applications, Azure cloud applications, Azure cloud services, API services, and SQL Server tables and stored procedures, utilizing onshore and offshore teams.
Create, implement, and ensure measures for successful execution, including Solution development standards, policies, processes, procedures, and controls.
Provide input to business relationship management teams regarding improvement goals for business divisions or functions that can be achieved through technical solutions.
Independently performs and assists other team members in providing ongoing system maintenance, research, problem resolution and on-call support tasks for existing systems.
Proactivity Work with the Novologix ARB to identify opportunities for technology improvements, improved organizational efficiency and effectiveness, and innovative solutions to help achieve business benefits through technology.
Oversees or performs unit testing.
performs code review before code merge.
Perform or assist with integration and system testing, according to detailed test plans to ensure high-quality systems.
Assist business partners with User Acceptance Testing.
With limited direction, supports the implementation of systems into production.
Responsible for Code Asset Management for an application or set of applications. Supports and promotes the reuse of assets across the organization.
May lead or act as a subject matter expert for projects and/or service requests impacting an application or set of applications.
May serve as team leader to direct technical activities, while also providing support for small and large highly complex projects that require increased skill across multiple technical environments and disciplines, that have system wide impact and that integrate across the organization.
Collaborate with internal infrastructure teams to properly plan and sustain healthy well performing cloud and on premise software application environments.
Document process findings, risks and recommendations. Communicate technology opportunity, operational and structural problems through the combined lens of architecture, development, partner and infrastructure.
Receives some supervision and direction as regards prioritization of work but is competent to work independently and to offer direction and oversight to assigned team.
Required Qualifications
-5+ years of IT experience with C#.Net, Angular, Azure Cloud, MS Visual Studio
-5+ years of experience with SQL Server 2016 or later version
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with TeamCity, Octopus, SSIS, SSRS, Javascript, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, Docker Image and DevOps
Understanding of Integrations and APIs
Expert knowledge of application vulnerability remediation
Knowledge of SAFE Agile methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent Problem Solving and Analytical skills
Possess leadership skills
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 1 years of additional experience for every year of college not attained, in addition to required years of experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$118,450.00 - $236,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
