Summary

Celestica is seeking for highly skilled and experienced Orchestrator Component Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation compute server orchestration platform.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a complex hierarchy of components that enable seamless management and control of our compute servers

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain components for our AI compute server orchestration platform, focusing on a hierarchical architecture.

  • Implement and integrate industry-standard protocols like Redfish, gNMI, and gRPC

  • Implement secure coding practices

  • Develop and implement scalable diagnostic tools and functionalities to monitor and troubleshoot system health.

  • Collaborate with hardware, FW, networking component engineers to ensure seamless integration of orchestration components with other components.

  • Develop and maintain configuration tools for manufacturing and deployment processes.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orchestration technologies and industry standards.

  • Contribute to the documentation and testing of orchestration components.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Technical Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Redfish, gNMI, and gRPC protocols and their application in server management.

  • Experience in full stack development

  • Experience with developing diagnostic tools, configuration management tools and processes for manufacturing and deployment.

  • Strong programming skills in languages like C/C++, Python.

  • Excellent communication, Collaboration, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Domain Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS).

  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in developing software components for orchestration platforms.
