Job Description

One of the world's largest DoD and Intel contracting companies is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong Red Hat Linux System Administration background in an Agile Software Environment and ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI CI Poly clearance to join our team . This is an onsite role in Richardson, TX.

Deep understanding of Directory Services for integration and troubleshooting are critical (Active Directory, LDAP, DNS). It is also a bonus to have DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure as Code experience. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and integrating solutions to optimize the infrastructure operations. The candidate will be responsible for creating scripts from scratch using BASH and Python. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new computer (and/or server), peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration special technology needs. Designs, implements, codes, tests, documents, and maintains systems integration solutions to total system or subsystems. Establishes functional and technical specifications, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Skills and Requirements

-- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly

- Active Security + certification

- 4 or more years of Red Hat Linux System Administration experience within an Agile Software environment

- RHEL 6 or 7 (ideally RHEL 7) is critical. Must be very capable in a hands-on the keyboard role

- Strong troubleshooting mindset

- Must be solid with LDAP, DNS and networking

- VMware - - Deep RedHat Bash knowledge

- Ansible - ability to write playbooks from scratch (back-end python for libraries)

- Ansible config management skills

- Terraform or CloudFormation

- PodMan or Kubernetes for containerization

- Prometheus or Grafana

- scripting from scratch

- AWS null
