Responsibilities
Working with Customer operations representative in conducting well surveillance, analysis, optimization and commissioning using Weatherford Engineering Software (ie. LOWIS, Cygnet, Foresite). Provide feedback to Customer on any potential problems and optimization opportunity utilizing Weatherford engineering software. Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting software solutions for our customer. Working with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, to identify and solve complex problems to support our customer reducing their cost and optimizing their production.
Responsible for conducting surveillance, analysis, optimization, and commissioning of Weatherford Engineering Software
Responsible for generating periodical data performance report to Customer
Responsible for maintenance and development of LOWIS software including configuration, integration, developing control logic, database management and graphical user interface
Provide feedback to Customer on any potential problems and optimization opportunity utilizing Weatherford engineering software
Close engagement with Customer to ensure services are well executed and in timely manner
Provide feedback to other team member to ensure full operational capacity of the Weatherford Engineering Software
Provide assistance to the Applications Engineers and Clients in order to plan and prepare for all facets of pending LOWIS/Foresite deployment and customer support
Complete all of the required duties associated with the pre-job preparation and installation associated with LOWIS/Foresite applications.
Design, develop, deploy, and support software solutions, with a focus on data analysis, network engineering, and machine learning to address complex oil and gas production challenges
Work closely with cross-functional team and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements
Develop and maintain data processing workflows and pipelines to support the acquisition, storage, processing, and analysis of oil and gas data from various sources including IoT devices, SCADA controllers, rod pump controllers, and other means of production optimization and monitoring
Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to analyze and predict oil and gas data, with a focus on addressing complex production challenges, providing intelligent alarms, and giving failure prediction
Develop and maintain network infrastructure to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data transfer and processing
Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate software solutions with existing systems and technologies
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to software development, data analysis and network engineering
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience including 3+ years in software development, data analysis, network engineering, and machine learning
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and SQL
Proficiency in data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques
Knowledge of network engineering principles and experience with network infrastructure design and implementation
Familiarity with IoT devices, SCADA controllers, rod pump controllers, and other means of production optimization and monitoring in the oil and gas industry
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
