Nestle Account Executive in Rhodes, Australia

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive on Woolworths, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Senior Customer Business Manager to develop and execute our ambitious plans. Your responsibilities will encompass end-to-end management of our Field & activation plans, ensuring our agreed plans are effectively brought to life in store.

In addition, you will oversee Promotional Planning in accordance with the agreed Customer Strategy, and manage our Trade Spend Accruals.

A DAY IN THE LIFE…

This role is particularly suited to individuals with prior experience in Account or Field Management with a desire to progress a career in Sales. In this position your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Ownership and coordination of Field Sales communication

  • Collaborating with the Customer Business Manager, Coffee & Dairy Business Unit & Customer to execute our ambitious plans.

  • Promotional management, within the agreed framework, in alignment with Woolworths and Coles

  • Partnering with Woolworths Assistant Category Managers to ensure prominent visibility for our key promotions outside of the aisle

  • Working collaboratively within a leading sales organization.

  • This role also includes the additional responsibility of managing the Statewide/Tasmanian Independent Retailer business for One Nestle food categories, providing an opportunity to develop and strengthen your Account Management skills.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • Strong commercial experience within the FMCG industry, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a commercial environment, such as Category, Field Sales, or Account Management.

  • Natural collaborator with a proactive mindset, capable of influencing others to drive account growth.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively articulate a clear vision and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with key accounts.

  • Commercial approach and digital savviness, able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Adaptability in communication style and confidence in engaging with Assistant Category Managers at Woolworths and Coles.

  • Experience using Circana Data and Synergy is highly regarded.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, essential for success in the role.
