Per Diem Gastroenterologist Opportunity–Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, NY (90 miles from New York City)
Northern Dutchess Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a per diem Gastroenterologist to see patients in our Rhinebeck, New York office with procedures performed at Norther Dutchess Hospital. Rhinebeck is located along the scenic Hudson River 90 minutes north of New York City. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Gastroenterology and used to practicing independently.
Our Gastroenterology practice is located on the Northern Dutchess Hospital Campus. Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) is an 84-bed acute care not-for-profit community hospital. NDH has an excellent medical staff, exceptional anesthesia, and 24/7 hospitalist coverage. The hospital has recently renovated operating rooms, a brand new, top-rated emergency department, and fully modernized patient care areas.
Rhinebeck and Kingston are part of one of the largest historic districts in the United States located along the scenic Hudson River. New York City culture can be found in a friendly, small town setting. The area offers a plethora of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, as well as larger events at the Dutchess Country Fairgrounds. Outdoor enthusiasts will find great skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and boating nearby. We are seeking a candidate who desires to escape the hustle and bustle of big city living, while retaining access to top-rated restaurants, performing arts centers, museums, a variety of housing options, and highly rated school systems. Prestigious colleges and universities can be found throughout the area, includingVassar College, Marist College, SUNY New Paltz, and Bard College. New York City is easily accessible via Amtrak.
