Job Description

The Oracle Government Defense & Intelligence (GDI) Cloud Adoption Engineer position, a member of the Cloud Solution Engineering job family, is a highly visible and influential individual contributor role that works directly with our largest customers to support their most challenging projects. All our GDI customers have important Cloud initiatives, and this role combines hands-on technical expertise and experience working with senior leaders to help support their missions, and successfully deliver core enterprise services such as Identity Management, Networking, and Security Monitoring.

Skills and Requirements

-90% architecture/engineering focused / 10% Cloud Selling. No need to have sales experience.

-Biggest pain point - not able to lead architecture conversation

-People who can get in the weeds with cloud automation & architecture

-Someone who can explain how virtual networking works, how they can describe the architecture to explain things to the customer

-Someone who can break down barriers but technical architect level

-Someone who's done infrastructure engineer for a cloud env null
