Manager, Payroll Operations (Hybrid)

ICF are seeking a skilled Manager, Payroll Operations r to join our Accounting Operations team. You will report to the Senior Manager of Payroll and Equity and be responsible for managing a staff of four.

In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of the domestic biweekly payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees, its payroll taxes, and the maintenance of the payroll records for ICF Inc. across the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Canada. You will also evaluate the daily operational functions, efficiency, and procedures of processes. Will be responsible for performance and annual employee evaluations and reviews.

This is a hybrid position based within our corporate headquarters, Reston VA.

What You Will Do:

• Review all pay components for completeness and accuracy.

• Review, process, and audit wage garnishment.

• Manage and audit severance, payroll and special payment uploads and/or delegations.

• Manage the ADP vendor and oversee the timely completion of all tax filings and remittance of amounts due.

• Provide the Accounting team with reports necessary to record all payroll transactions.

• Respond to inquiries from federal, state, and local tax authorities.

• Ensure Form W-2s are filed on time and are accurate.

• Perform duties while maintaining strong prioritization and organizational skills, and professional communications in all interactions.

• Demonstrates an important level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism with people inside and outside of the payroll department, maintaining employees' confidential and personal information.

What You Will Bring With You:

• 4 + years of payroll experience.

• 3 + years of people management experience.

• 2+ years of Workday experience.

• Experience with payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$79,643.00 - $135,392.00
